Are MIRET sneakers vegan?
All new models of MIRET sneakers contain wool and are not vegan. Nevertheless, our wool is produced without any harm to sheep and without toxic chemicals.
If your sneakers are 97% bio-based, what is in the remaining 3%?
The 3% of non bio-based materials are synthetic glue and polyester thread. Both of these components are here to make the build of the sneaker stronger so it can last you a long time.
Are MIRET sneakers barefoot shoes?
MIRET sneakers are lightweight, flexible and have flat and low outsoles, but they aren’t barefoot sneakers. MIRET sneakers are not built with “zero-drop” even though the height difference in the area of heel and the front area is minimal. Also, unlike barefoot sneakers, MIRET sneakers do have insoles with arch support.
Do you have a physical store?
At this time MIRET sneakers are only sold on our official website.
How do I dispose of my MIRET sneakers?
There is no right way to dispose of shoes, even MIRET sneakers. This is the reason why we are trying to develop a shoe which is toxin-free. We could organize the process of disassembly and recycling ourselves, but the CO2 emissions of shipping a used pair back to our facility would cause more harm than good. Unfortunately there is no standardized-recycling-of-shoes method out there, so shoe-recycling is not an option yet. The best would be to use them until they are no longer usable, and then have them repaired at your local repair-shop and use them some more.
How long does it take for MIRET sneakers to break down/degrade after disposal?
MIRET’s ultimate goal is to create products which have zero impact on the environment: bio-based, biodegradable, compostable, toxic-free and locally produced, but we are not there yet. Almost everything we humans do has a negative impact on our environment. At MIRET we are working hard to minimize that impact. Our products are much more sustainable than other products on the market, but we still cannot claim that they are in fact “sustainable”. We could make a near-to-zero-impact shoe, but it would be either a block of wood with a hole for your foot, or a cardboard-shoe – incredibly uncomfortable or very non-durable. We are trying to create an optimal balance in everything, and rest assured, we will continue working tirelessly to create even better products.
2. SIZE, FIT AND CARE
How to choose my MIRET sneakers size?
On each product page of our webshop, you will find a link called Size Chart. Clicking that link will reveal a size guide with instructions to determine your recommended size. If you need further advice, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org
Will my sneakers stretch?
MIRET sneakers won't stretch, so it is important that you measure your feet correctly before choosing your size. Measure both feet and use the larger one for defining your size.
Do MIRET sneakers have good arch support?
MIRET sneakers are supported with MIRET ultra-light ergonomically shaped natural insoles that are removable, so you can take them out or replace them with your own insoles.
How do I clean my MIRET sneakers?
Pure wool is antistatic and does not attract dirt like other fabrics. The fabric is also water repellent, so spillages are slow to penetrate. To maintain the beautiful colour and appearance, we recommend gentle vacuuming with a soft nozzle. For all the dust and mud stains, leave the stains to dry and vacuum clean them. For stains always soak up the liquid with a white kitchen towel as soon as possible. If the stain has dried, remove as much if it as possible with vacuuming. Most stains and dirt can be removed using an ordinary pH-neutral detergent diluted in lukewarm water.
What are your shipping charges?
Shipping charges are calculated on the checkout and depend on the delivery country. Keep in mind that our prices do not include customs fees or other additional taxes that might apply to customers outside of the EU.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
Do I have to pay custom/import duties?
Yes, customers are responsible for paying all import and customs duties for countries outside of the EU.
How long will the delivery take?

We work with DHL for international orders, and DPD for domestic orders.
3. MY ORDER
Can I change or cancel my order?
We try to ensure the quickest delivery possible. Please contact our customer support at email@example.com immediately if you wish to make any change so we can check the status of your order and try to modify it. If your order is already dispatched from our warehouse, it cannot be changed or canceled.
When will I receive my tracking number?
We send out tracking numbers after we process and ship out the order. Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days.
I wasn’t home during a delivery attempt, what to do?
In case you weren’t home during the delivery attempt, please contact the designated courier (DHL or DPD in your country) with your shipping number and arrange a time for the second attempt delivery that suits you the best.
4. EXCHANGES, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
What is your return policy?
You may exchange or return your items for a full refund within 30 days of having received it and we will cover the shipping fee.
Items need to be unworn, undamaged, in re-sellable condition (i.e. no creases or wear on outsoles), and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria.

When can I expect my refund?
We strive to process your refund within five working days counting from the day we receive the shoes. However, do take into account that we are legally entitled to process refunds within 30 days. Also, please note that - depending on the payment platform - it can take up to 5 working days for the money to be on your account.

After the exchange or return request has been processed, you will either receive the return label for DHL, or we'll organise the pick-up for you, depending on the country of shipping.

For exchanges and returns from all other countries (outside of the EU) customers may be charged additional VAT and/or duties by their local government when processing a return. MIRET bears no responsibility for any such additional costs.

Which payment methods does MIRET support?

My payment failes, what should I do?
Delete your cookies and cache data, use a different browser, or use a different payment method. If this doesn’t solve the problem, please contact our customer service at email@example.com.
If the purchase amount has been deducted from your bank account, yet the website says that the order failed, contact our customer services as soon as possible with a screenshot of the payment, so we can start processing your order.
What does VAT mean?
VAT is a value-added tax that EU customers pay. VAT is already included in all prices for customers from the EU. Customers from outside of the EU pay the prices without the VAT and may be charged with additional costs on the customs.
How can I get an Invoice?
We provide Invoices for all orders, and deliver them via email.
